Hindu Penal Laws :

Crime and Punishment is most important thing to keep peace and prosperity of society . In ancient Hindu Society before Vedic Dharmi Brahmins invaded Hindustan it was existing in Sindhu - Hindu Civilization where there was public system of Civil maintenance for Civil Society penal system was also existing for crimes however forgiveness and mild punishment , small amount of monetary fine ruled that system as the society was close related to each other and being all Native Hindus .

Videshi Vedic Brahmin Dharm had there own separate religious and penal system . Videshi Vedic Brahmin Dharm had Vedas recognized as Dharm Granth but their Penal Laws have been changing and many . They included many Dharm Sutras and Dand Vidhan and many Smritis one among them was Manusmirti

Historically Buddhist , Jain , Sikh are called Hindu and had Common Hindu Dharm thinking which opposed Vedic Brahmin Dharm of ved and Bhed and Common Penal Laws and System as can be noted from Non Brahmin various scriptures under which Lord Shiva had punished rapist Brahma , Lord Ram kill Videshi Vedic Dharmi Ravan for abducting Sita and Lord Krishna killed Vedic Brahmin Dharmi Brahmin Asvathama for his heinous crime of killing Dropadi sons when they were sleeping . Chhtrapati Shivaji maharaj killing Vedic Brahmin Dharmi Brahmin Bhaskar Kulkarni and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj punishing Vedic Brahmin Dharmi Brahmin courtesans who had conspired against Hindvi Swaraj .

Samarat Ashok had issued many orders governing Crime and Punishment and they were guided by Native Hindu Dharm which included Buddhism , Jainism also and the same is acknowledged by Dr Ambedkar also in his work Hindu Code Bill which were later in acted as Hindu Laws .
